Bible Story:  Proverbs 12:18. Solomon talks about the power of our words. Choosing the right words in a difficult situation can actually bring healing to the situation rather than destruction.

Bottom Line: Choose your words carefully. Think about the words you use throughout different situations, because our words can help point others to Jesus!

Key Question: Why are your words so important? Your words have power to hurt or help. God can help you make the wise choice with your words even when you might be upset.

Extra Memory Verse: “Set a guard over my mouth, Lord; keep watch over the door of my lips.” Psalm 141:3 NIV
