Bible Story: John 12:9-16. God’s people had waited for generations for Him to send the Messiah. God kept His promise and was up to something bigger than they could have imagined!

Bottom Line: Whatever happens, remember God keeps His promises. Because God keeps His promises, we can trust Him no matter what. It might not be as you expected, but you can have hope that God will help you through any situation.

Key Question:  What promises does God have for you? God had been promising His people a Savior, and Jesus was the fulfillment of that promise. God still has promises for us today!

Extra Memory Verse: “God has made a great many promises. They are all “Yes” because of what Christ has done. So through Christ we say “Amen.” We want God to receive glory.” 2 Corinthians 1:20, NIrV
