Camp DV – Monday, July 3rd, 2017

Parents, Thanks for a great week at Camp.  Thank you for allowing us to have your kiddos and teach them how they are uniquely and wonderfully made.  It is our desire that camp isn’t a one and done event but it starts a conversation at home that helps you talk you your kids about reading their bible, doing devotions and following Jesus.  We had a ton of fun but we seriously wrap it all around the fact that Jesus loves us so much that he died for our sins and wants to have a relationship with him.  Our desire is that through us showing love to the kids, they will begin to understand the love that Jesus has waiting for them.

We don’t know what your child’s next step is but you do.  Maybe it is learning:

  1. More about being a Jesus follower.
  2. Accepting Jesus as their forever friend.
  3. Being a better friend and living more like Jesus.
  4. Growing in their faith and sharing what Jesus did for them.
  5. Or may be it is tithing more in DV, sharing their time with others or talents by volunteering in their community.

No matter what, we know that every one has a next step to take.

We also had a lot of fun.  Below is a recap of the week that includes both Lifeline and Discovery Village.  We had a total of 301 kids and 99 leaders and staff.

Here is the recap video of all the fun we had: https://vimeo.com/224078346

Until next year, remember to continue all the conversations you can have at home!
