November 18-19 preschoolers will focus on being thankful for people who help them.
Ruth, Naomi, & Boaz Ruth 1-2
Ruth helps provide food for Naomi, and Boaz helps provide food for Ruth.
We all need people to help us. We can be thankful for our family and friends and all the people in our community. Think about how many people help you each and every day. Nov. 18-19, our preschoolers will hear the story of Naomi, Ruth and Boaz, and that story is full of people who help! Our preschool friends will also identify who the people are that help them each and every day.
Parents, be sure to take time to complete the “thankful wreath” with your preschooler and hang it where all the family can see it when they visit on Thanksgiving. If you didn’t receive the take home tool, be sure to grab one from the Take Home Tool basket at your campus or see a DV Coordinator.
This Month’s Memory Verse
“I will (thumbs to chest) give thanks (sign language-touch right hand to chin and then gesture out) to the Lord (both hands point up) with my whole heart (both hands over heart and make beating motion). Psalm 111:1 (open hands like a book)
