Preschool

November 5, 2017

For the month of  November we’ll be cooking up a recipe of thanks. The preschoolers will learn how to have a thankful heart. Nov. 4-5 lesson teaches us to be thankful for God’s Commandments.

Ten Commandments  Exodus 20

We will start the month learning about the Ten Commandments. Commandments are some of those ingredients that may not sound yummy but they are oh so good for you. This week, Nov. 4-5, we’ll get to hear all about the time God gave Moses the Ten Commandments. While we won’t delve deeply into all of them (Some of them are a little out of a preschooler’s realm of understanding.), we will shout out loud and clear God’s number one commandment, we should love God more than anything!

Be sure to ask your preschooler: Who can you thank for everything? Bottom Line: I can thank God for everything.

This Month’s Memory Verse

I will (thumbs to chest) give thanks (sign language-touch right hand to chin and then gesture out) to the Lord (both hands point up) with my whole heart (both hands over heart and make beating motion). Psalm 111:1 (open hands like a book)
