November 5, 2017

We kick off the month of November introducing the virtue of gratitude. Gratitude is a response to the character of God.  Nov. 4-5, we’ll help kids refocus on their own life and discover reasons they can be thankful.

The Story

What are you grateful for?  We’re so busy with life that we don’t take the time to pause and notice what God has done for us. This week, Nov. 4-5, we start our look at gratitude with Psalm 100 where we read, “Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.

God has done so much for us through the gift of Jesus, it’s only fitting that we respond to Him with a heart of gratitude.  When you know what God has done for you, YOU CAN BE THANKFUL—ALWAYS.

Bottom Line: Celebrate what God has done.  As a family, take time to think on all of the opportunities God has shown you love and faithfulness throughout the year. Be sure to celebrate God’s goodness together.
