Happy Easter!  He is Risen! Be sure to take time together as a family celebrating Jesus is Alive!  Be sure to include some singing and dancing in this celebration. Two of the preschooler’s favorite songs, “Hosanna Rock” and “Oh So Happy Day” are on the song list above. Check out how you can grab these songs for your preschooler at home. Have fun!

The Story

Easter Matthew 26:20-30; 27:45-50; 28:1-7
Jesus has the Last Supper with the disciples, later dies on a cross and is buried in a tomb. Three days later, Jesus comes back, just like He promised! Jesus is alive! Parents, While this Bible story seems a bit difficult to believe and understand, young children are the best at believing what we tell them and what the Bible says. We as adults, need to be more like little children.  We are here to partner with you; helping to build your child’s spiritual foundation. Before all the colorful eggs are found this weekend, take time to read through the Easter story in your child’s favorite Bible storybook and say this prayer together:

Dear God, thank you that Jesus didn’t stay in the tomb. Thank you that he came back to life and that He’s alive and with us today! In Jesus’ name, amen.

This Month’s Memory Verse

Bible Memory Verse With Motions:

“God (point up) loved (hug yourself) the world (raise your arms overhead to form a circle) so much (stretch your arms out as far as possible) that He gave (place your hands together with palms up in front of you as if you’re offering something) His only Son (hold your arms as if you’re cradling and rocking a baby), John 3:16.” (Open your hands like a book.)
