This month we celebrate Easter and will share with the preschoolers the true story of how much God loves them, and how He gave His only Son. Don’t miss week one, Washing Feet.

The Story

Jesus shows me I can serve others.  Washing Feet  John 13: 3-7

vs. 4 He got up from the table, took off his robe, wrapped a towel around his waist, vs5 and poured water into a basin. Then he began to wash the disciple’ feet, drying them with the towel he had around him.

For Fun:  At bath time, spend some extra time washing your child’s feet. As you do, review Jesus’ foot washing. For each foot, have your child think of one way he or she can show kindness to someone.

Bible Memory Verse With Motions: God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son.” John 3:16

“God (point up) loved (hug yourself) the world (raise your arms overhead to form a circle) so much (stretch your arms out as far as possible) that He gave (place your hands together with palms up in front of you as if you’re offering something) His only Son (hold your arms as if you’re cradling and rocking a baby), John 3:16.” (Open your hands like a book.)

Be sure to grab your child’s new memory verse magnet for a reference and practicing at home.
