What’s Happening:  Jesus is the best!

Waving palms and singing Hosanna… It’s going to be a great weekend in Preschool.

The Story

Palm Sunday  Matthew 21: 1-16

The people praise Jesus while spreading their coats and palm branches on the road as He enters Jerusalem for the Passover.

Everyone loves a parade! The people of Jerusalem had a parade-like gathering to honor Jesus. The people cheered for Jesus. They laid their coats in the road and shouted praises.

Be sure to grab your child’s favorite Bible storybook and read this part of the Easter story together. After the story ask your child what they can do to honor Jesus? Or ways they can praise Him. Enjoy this special time together.

 This Month’s Memory Verse

Bible Memory Verse With Motions:

God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son.” John 3:16

“God (point up) loved (hug yourself) the world (raise your arms overhead to form a circle) so much (stretch your arms out as far as possible) that He gave (place your hands together with palms up in front of you as if you’re offering something) His only Son (hold your arms as if you’re cradling and rocking a baby), John 3:16.” (Open your hands like a book.)
