Family Times are important. I’m sure you have some fun time carved out to celebrate this weekend and over the fourth. When the celebration is over be sure to continue leveraging your routine family time weekly to shape your child’s future. Meal Time helps establish values with intentional conversations, Bed Time strengthens your relationship through heart conversations, Drive Time helps interpret life during informal conversations and Morning Time is when you can instill purpose and give fuel for the day. –Don’t Miss It, Reggie Joiner

The Story

Young Daniel and his three friends ask to only eat vegetables and drink water when in training with King Nebuchadnezzar because they want to honor God.

Vs. 15 At the end of ten days, Daniel and his three friends looked healthier and better nourished than the young men who had been eating the food assigned by the king.

Vs. 20 Whenever the king consulted them in any matter requiring wisdom and balanced judgment, he found them ten times more capable than any others in his entire kingdom.

For Fun: Get your favorite dip, raw veggies and your preschool child. Each time you dip your veggie, discuss times with your preschooler when they may be tempted and how you can help them understand the importance of obeying God.
