HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY! God did an awesome thing creating moms. Each of you are a blessing to your children and families in more ways than you know. I pray on this day you feel loved and receive a lot of hugs and kind words. Enjoy your time together.

The Story

Hagar Genesis 21:14-20

God hears Ishmael (Hagar’s son) crying and provides the water he needs.

As Hagar and her son leave Abraham and Sarah, they head to the desert. After some time their water is gone and she is afraid for her son’s life.  Hagar begins crying and God hears her cry. An angel tells her to not be afraid and shows her a full well of water.  She was able to give her son a drink.

In times of need, we need to pray and trust God.  When your preschooler is afraid, take time to cuddle and pray together. This is a great way to model how you trust God too.
